Wetumpka Athletics Leadership

Dr. Slater works to ensure that all WHS Students receive the resources necessary to be their best during their time as a Indian. A key tenant of his leadership is a focused approach to delivering the best education possible to prepare our young adults for life after high school and athletics. 

Coach Jonathan "Bear" Woods is in his first season as the Wetumpka Football Head Coach and Indians Athletic Director. Already Coach Bear has initiated a cultural change that focuses on self-accountability, school and community pride, and a renewed work ethic amongst the WHS Coaching Staff and our many Student-Athletes.
